Keep a character or product consistent
Pick one reference image, use it for three shots and check they match before you animate.
Before you start#
This tutorial uses media credits
Every image and clip costs credits. The agent estimates before it makes anything.
You need one clear reference image of your character or product that you have the right to use. Write down what must never change: face, clothing, packaging, colors, small details. Save the image as media/references/main.png.
No reference yet? Make one first
Make one reference image of an original character: a woman in her thirties with short black hair, a blue wool coat and a red scarf, full body, facing the camera, plain light gray background. Estimate first. Save it as media/references/main.png.Make three matching stills#
Paste into the chat
Using media/references/main.png, make three stills of the same character: walking into a café, sitting by a window, and a close-up smiling. Keep the face, red scarf and blue coat exactly the same. Change only the camera angle and action. First show me the shot list and the cost.- 1Approve one still first and check the face, hands, clothing and background.
- 2Fix the reference or the prompt before making the other two.
- 3Save the stills you like in media/references/ with a short note of what must match.
Animate the stills#
Next prompt
Animate the three stills I picked, 4 seconds each. Keep the look and composition; describe only the action and camera move. Check which input types and lengths the chosen model supports. Estimate before you start and save the clips in media/.Models take images in different ways: as the first frame, as first and last frames, or as a reference for the look. References help a lot, but check every clip.
Compare the shots#
- Put the clips side by side and compare face or product details, clothing, size and direction of movement.
- If a clip has sound, listen for changes in voice or room tone.
- Remake a shot that drifts from the reference, then compare again.
- Put only the shots that match in your edit.
In the web app, Character Studio and Product Studio save a character or product so you can reuse it in any shot.
