Make films with AI agents on your Mac

Start with an idea, a script, or your own footage. Work with agents in VideoDraft ADE to plan the shots, create the media, and shape the cut in the native VideoDraft Editor.

The starting point

Start with what you already have.

Bring a rough idea, a finished script, or footage from your last shoot. Give your agents the references and direction they need to develop the next draft.

  • Work through treatments, scripts, and shot lists.
  • Keep character references and creative notes with the project.
  • Use your own footage alongside generated media.

Production in parallel

Keep the whole production moving.

Explore a visual direction while another agent develops the shot list or works on sound. Give independent jobs their own tasks, then choose what belongs in the film.

  • Generate images, video, voice, music, and sound.
  • Follow each task and refine the work as it develops.
  • Bring the selected assets into your native edit.

VideoDraft Editor

Direct the edit.
Refine it by hand.

Ask an agent to assemble or revise the timeline. Open VideoDraft Editor to adjust the same project yourself, from the opening shot to the final sound mix.

You and your agent work on the same native project.

Shape the sequence

Trim, reorder, and adjust the timing. Give the agent another direction or make the next change yourself.

Finish the picture and sound

Work with editable captions, audio levels, fades, color tools, and effects in the native editor.

Export or hand off

Render H.264, H.265, or ProRes. Use supported XML and FCPXML exports to continue in another editor.
